The Awareness DNN Ecosystem Advisory Group held its September meeting yesterday. We had new members and some exciting updates,
including DNN Open Friday, interesting blog posts, and updates on the upcoming community dashboard. Our group
continues to do a great job of creating and spreading DNN-based content around the world. We are about to turn a
couple important corners. Exciting!

The Awareness DNN Ecosystem Advisory Group has a lofty but long overdue goal of updating the DNNSoftware.com website. Some
of the things we're trying to address include: making DNN Platform more obvious, increasing the usability of the website, and
updating the messaging found throughout the website. We have some rockstar members that are putting in some excellent work
towards this goal.

Our group continues to do a great job of creating and spreading DNN-based content around the world. This is especially exciting since many people have been having their vacations recently.

Depending on who you ask, you’ll be the recipient of a very passionate response when you ask any DNN’er their opinion
about DNN upgrades. In general, upgrading DNN is very similar to any other ASP.NET application. Yet,
when things go wrong, people tend to blame the application itself. Don’t get me wrong, the respective application
can and sometimes does have something to do with an issue that may occur, but in my experience, that’s the exception
and not the rule. Here are some tips to help you have a less "exciting" time the next time you have to upgrade
DNN.
