An email signature is one of them. And it doesn’t have to cost much—or anything at all. Shannon emailed me earlier today and gave my email signature a compliment—something simple, kind, and unexpected. But it was also a reminder: People do notice the little things. Even something like your email signature can make a strong impression. So I thought I'd share the tool that help me—and my Clients—build professional, brand-aligned signatures across devices. Here’s what my signature looks like: You can see that I include pretty much everything you might be looking for. You know who I am, what I do, who we are, and all of the ways to get in touch. There's even a link to get on my calendar! In my case, I used WiseStamp, because I've been using for several years... So, I thought there must be newer/better options out there now... Why Small Businesses Should Care About Their Signature A good email signature makes you look professional. A great one makes you memorable. If you're still sending emails that end with something like: Thanks, John ...you’re missing an easy branding opportunity. Instead, imagine an email that ends with: Your logo Your title (instantly building authority) Links to your website and calendar Social media icons A polished design that looks good on desktop and mobile You don’t need a huge marketing team or expensive software to make that happen. You just need the right tool—and a few minutes to set it up. Affordable Tools to Create a Professional Signature Here are just a few of what I found to be MANY options out there for you. There are SO many out there today! 1. HubSpot Email Signature Generator Cost: Free Website: hubspot.com/email-signature-generator Best for: Solopreneurs or first-time business owners Pros: Easy to use, clean templates, social icon support. Cons: No syncing across devices; manual updates required. 2. Gimmio (Free Plan) Cost: Free limited version | Paid starts at $4/user/month Website: gimm.io Best for: Design-conscious users and freelancers Pros: Drag-and-drop builder, HTML export, deep design control. Cons: No syncing unless upgraded; free version is limited. 3. MySignature Cost: ~$6/user/month (billed annually) Website: mysignature.io Best for: Solopreneurs and micro-teams Pros: Polished templates, mobile-ready, CTA support. Cons: No free plan; syncing across devices requires manual steps. 4. Signature.email Cost: $199/year flat for up to 250 users Website: signature.email Best for: Budget-conscious teams Pros: Flat pricing, scalable, HTML exportable templates. Cons: No analytics or syncing; best for static setup. I found that even Canva helps you create a signature! But, their option is similar to how HubSpot's does it. Signatures Aren’t Just for You If you’ve got a team—even just a handful of people—make sure everyone has a consistent signature. Your emails are a daily brand touchpoint. Having your team aligned sends a powerful message: we’re organized, intentional, and professional. The Bottom Line If your email signature isn’t pulling its weight, now’s the time to fix that.
