From Squarespace Site to Growth Engine: Why It’s Time to Level Up Your Website When you first launched your business, your website only had one job: exist. Mobile Friendly Business Websites … It’s More Than Responsive Design Once you have a responsive business website, you are only half-way done. To ensure that your site is mobile-friendly you need to think about mobile every time you make content to put on your website. By always “thinking mobile” you will change the way you choose and edit images, it will influence the way you write, and it will naturally limit the complexity and number of widgets and apps that you use. A Website is Never “Done”: 5 Reasons You Should Never Start Ignoring Your Business’s Website Your website isn’t like a printed brochure — it doesn’t have a “final version.” It’s a living, breathing part of your business that works for you 24/7… or at least it should. This is especially true if you look at the lifetime investment of your website. Using a CMS framework or solution of some kind just seems to make sense. After all, this is what I’ve built my own career upon since 2001. However, then, CMS was known as a portal or portal framework. That’s a long time ago, so it’s not a bad idea to take stock of things every now and thing to see if what you’re doing is the correct thing. To this end, I asked myself, “How is CMS doing right now, and does it make sense to still be doing CMS-related work in the future?”
